The people in charge have been dedicated to ecological beekeeping for over twenty years, accompanied by millions of bees, working with passion and commitment to the environment. Here, you will learn about the importance of bees in biodiversity, their relationship with the ecosystem, and how their disappearance could affect the planet. Be an apiarist and gardener.

Beekeeping

• Welcome and informative workshop on bees: inhabitants of the hive, materials and tools of beekeepers, products made by bees, and the benefits of their consumption.

• Visit to the bee square: Wearing authentic beekeeper clothes, visit the apiary to learn about the work done by the bees, their social organization, and the importance of pollination for environmental conservation.

• Wax workshop: Make a candle with natural beeswax.

• Tasting of different types of monofloral honey, discovering their taste nuances, texture, and properties.

• Packaging workshop: Each participant will package and label their own jar of honey as a souvenir of the experience.

Garden

• Visit to the organic garden: Learn how to grow organically and harvest seasonal fruits and/or vegetables, understanding the benefits of sustainable agriculture.

• Tasting of fruit and/or vegetables at a restaurant: Different recipes will be offered to taste depending on what was harvested, enjoying the freshest and most natural flavors.

Pottery

Another activity you can’t miss is the pottery workshop, where you can create your own ceramic pieces with the help of expert potters. This activity is perfect for developing creativity and connecting with one of the oldest artisan traditions. You’ll learn basic techniques for modeling and decorating ceramics, and at the end, you can take your creation home as a special keepsake from this unforgettable experience.
