“Enchanted Trekking” and Local Products Tasting

Trekking from Soportújar to Órgiva with a Final Tasting of Italian Artisanal Products

This beautiful Alpujarras trekking route begins in Soportújar, known as the Witches’ Village, where we can stroll through its streets filled with history and mysticism. As we progress, we will enjoy the stunning views of La Alpujarra, immersing ourselves in a natural environment of great beauty.

From Soportújar, we will start a gradual descent to reach the small and charming white village of Carataunas, where we will take a short break to appreciate its peaceful atmosphere and rural charm. We will then continue the route towards Órgiva, passing through a landscape of centuries-old olive trees, witnesses of the region’s deep-rooted agricultural tradition.

The total distance of the route is 11 km, with a 500-meter negative elevation, making it a low technical difficulty trek, ideal for those looking to enjoy hiking without major physical demands.

At the end of the trek, we will arrive at an agroecological farm, where the Abrida food truck will be waiting with a selection of delicious artisanal products.

Artisanal Italian Gastronomy in a Social Project

The Abrida gastronomic and artistic association offers a unique experience that combines a connection with nature, a visit to an agroecological garden, and a tasting of authentic Italian cuisine.

This project has a strong social impact, as young people from the Órgiva Youth Center are responsible for managing the garden and selling its produce, allowing them to showcase their work and gain visibility.

Tasting Menu

The menu includes:

• Tasting of organic olive oil with artisanal bread

• Neapolitan fried pizza and focaccia

• Garden-fresh salad

• Danubios and cornettos

• Organic wine or a non-alcoholic beverage

Additional Information

A minimum of 10 participants is required to carry out this experience. There is also the option to organize private events for closed groups.
