Experience on a typical Andalusian countryside farm with the Berrenda Cow
Discover a unique experience on a traditional Andalusian countryside farm, where you will meet the majestic Berrenda Cow, an indigenous breed at risk of extinction.
A visit to learn about cattle farming tradition
The experience begins with a brief presentation about this impressive cattle breed, where you will learn about their characteristics, history, and the importance of their conservation. The holistic management of pastures will also be explained, a system that promotes soil regeneration through rotation and sustainable grazing.
One of the most special moments of the visit is the cattle training and handling demonstration. You will see how one person can easily move the cows from one place to another on the farm, as thanks to training, it’s possible to touch, walk, and even feed them directly.
A tractor ride around the farm
To get an up-close look at the farm and its surroundings, we will take a tractor ride with a trailer, a fun experience for both adults and children. During the ride, you can enjoy the typical landscape of the Andalusian countryside and observe how the cattle coexist in harmony with their natural environment.
Tasting with farm products
At the end of the visit, we will head to a local restaurant, where we will enjoy a delicious tasting of local products. Some of the specialties you can try include:
-
Oxtail croquettes
-
Homemade chorizo
-
Mini beef hamburgers
-
Meat stew with potatoes
This selection of dishes reflects the rich gastronomy of the region and allows you to taste the quality of products made from the farm’s cattle.
Location and requirements
The farm is located 10 minutes from the La Puebla de Cazalla exit, right in front of the historic Castillo de Luna, making this experience an excellent option to combine with a cultural visit.
