Organic and Biodynamic Winery, Pioneering the Revival of Wine Production in the Serranía de Ronda Since 1982
We will welcome you to our beautiful, romantic-style garden with a long history. In front of it lie our organic vineyards, where we will explain why it is so important to cultivate them in this way and the different types of grapes we plant. We will also tell you about the origins of viticulture and wine production in the Serranía de Ronda, a tradition that dates back centuries.
The history of the winery is closely tied to our family, originally from Südtirol, near the Dolomites, dedicated to viticulture since 1641. At 18, Friedrich was clear about two things: he wanted to be a winemaker (like his family for generations) and he didn’t want to do it in his homeland, Germany. He chose Spain, specifically Ronda, a region with a Mediterranean climate but with Atlantic influences. The Serranía de Ronda is a region where the Iberians, and later the Romans, already cultivated vineyards in the ancient city of Acinipo. Here, he founded the first organic and biodynamic winery in the province of Málaga, pioneering the revival of wine production in the Serranía de Ronda in 1982.

At the winery, we teach you the journey of the grape to the bottle, the entire natural and artisanal winemaking process. We explain each stage, from hand harvesting to fermentation with indigenous yeasts, without chemical interventions. Additionally, we will show you our barrels and how time and care influence the wine’s quality. You will also discover the importance of biodynamics in the production process, respecting the natural cycles and the ecosystem’s balance.
Our winery offers a unique wine tourism experience, with guided tastings where you can sample our organic and biodynamic wines. You will enjoy their complexity and character, reflecting the terroir and our philosophy of work. We look forward to sharing our passion for wine with you!
