Discover the Natural Monument of Alhama Granada, located in the province of Granada. This destination, renowned for its thermal waters and captivating Arab heritage, serves as the starting point for an unforgettable experience that blends nature and history, crowned with a visit to one of the region’s most traditional cheesemakers.
Every season transforms this landscape into a unique spectacle. In autumn, the soft light, pleasant temperatures, and warm hues of the trees create a magical atmosphere. Meanwhile, in spring, the lush greenery bursts to life, offering a vibrant and lively environment to fully enjoy the journey.
The route, which follows the course of the Alhama River, is simple yet full of beauty. Over the centuries, the river has carved out an incredible geological wonder that is worth exploring.

Excellent experience with a GREAT Host!!
We started our route on time and form the first minute we knew that we were going to have a blast! Lorena, the Host and founder of GoInsitu, greeted us with a big smile that you could see even with the face mask!
Then we headed to the Alhama village crossing a beautiful forest while Lorena was giving us a lot of fun facts about the surroundings. Plus! She has a lot of info about the wild life and vegetation, so if you are a geek like me don’t hesitate a second and ask her!
After our nice walk we stopped on a farm where they delight us with an awesome cheese tasting…OMG! i can even remember the taste of it.
We will repeat again and sooner than later!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED guys.
